I made this kit so you can use it to solve your problems with lead.
Included in the kit is both the spray and drip bottles. I recommend the spray bottle if your looking for lead paint dust, or looking for areas of exposed lead paint.
Each spray bottle naturally contains 170 full sprays, however if you purchased after 5/2025 you will receive a small ring in your bag, when installed it increases the number of sprays to 500 without sacrificing sensitivity.
The drip bottle contains significantly more tests, if you tap the tip on an object a small amount of fluid is released, you can easily tap it 3600 times however the surface area that you are able to test is small.
The drip bottle is best for when you know exactly what you want to test.
If you are tryign to baby proof your home I suggest you get both bottles.
The liquid is the same so you can also refill the spray bottle using the drip bottle or vice versa if you want.

Flashlight Information
The Flashlight's Wavelength is 365nm, If you have one already you can use it as long as it’s the correct wavelength. However this flashlight produces significantly more light energy than many other models on the market.
More power = More Sensitivity
Smaller amounts/ particles of lead dust will fluoresce more obviously with a stronger light.
Drip Bottle Advantage
The Drip Bottle uses gravity and momentum to dispense a small amount of the fluid from the tip.
This means that one single bottle has thousands of tests in it.
Bottle Information
Each Bottle Contains ~30ml of testing fluid.
This applies to both the drip tip and the spray bottle.
Clean Up
Everything in Fluoro-Spec is water soluble.
Full Ingredients List:
-Methylazanium Bromide (Methylammonium Bromide, Methylamine Hydrobromide, Bromomethylammonium)
(please do not confuse with Methyl Bromide they are completely different things)
-Mandalic Acid
-Isopropyl Alcohol
That means that cleaning it with pure water will dissolve and remove all traces of it, you can also remove virtually all of the testing substance using a damp napkin or paper towel.
If the test is positive there will be lead on the surface, exercise extreme caution if you attempt to clean this up, you will be moving lead onto the napkin and risk exposure.
Lead containing items that glow contain Lead that is on the surface and may easily be mobilized by touching or washing, be careful.

I found lead on my Pyrex brand beakers that I had purchased via Amazon. I feel empowered knowing so much I own doesn’t contain lead, but this disappointed me because I trusted this company. Glad I can know better with this testing set.

In my country the only at home test you can get costs $30-$40 which are only reliably used on house paints. I am so thankful for having the ability to test our household toys and dine ware.
I have been able to test all our cups and plates (chucked a few) and am making my way through painted toys - haven't even slightly made a dent in the bottle yet.
My boyfriend bought us each a kit! Super simple to use, we found a couple items around our house containing lead. One item was a pill box I frequently used. It was on the lid and of course I was touching that lid before bringing whatever pill to my mouth.
Another item was a cup I received just last summer. This cup I know multiple other coworkers of mine have received and now I can warn them too of the lead found
I have been a follower of Eric’s Instagram page and he is very helpful with his educational content paired with his video series on going to different stores in communities and showing us what to avoid/ test more often for lead. Our children’s health is vital to be able to discern lead contamination & exposure, and remove all possibilities for a healthy future generation. Would highly recommend the kit from him. I would just be curious to see if this could be diluted and put into a spray bottle.
I’ve always been afraid of lead lurking in my house. This product is INCREDIBLY EASY TO TEST EVERYTHING. There is so much in the bottle. I tested my whole home, parents home, my work place, and found several culprits! I’ll be using it for thrifting, shopping and antiquing from now on!
I've tested some glasses, everything painted, some hardware, and some ceramics. I'm happy to say I've only found lead on the glasses (we don't use them that much anyway) and a wine rack that a friend of ours made for us. Great thing about this is there so much solution in one bottle that I can still test a ton more things!
