In addition to finding lead dust on our window sills and underneath all of our door hinges, I found a significant source of lead on our kitchen floor that was being transferred from our basement. I am so grateful for this knowledge, as I now know where the sources of lead are in our home. If I had waited until our baby was old enough to crawl, it would have been too late. This test kit makes it so easy to identify lead around the house, or anywhere! My house was built in the 1970’s so I was really worried there would be lead materials, but so far I haven’t found lead aside from a few coffee mugs and old plates in the cabinet. I bought the two pack so I can share a kit with my best friend, it’s a great deal!

We have a home built in the ‘70s so I have been concerned, especially since we have children. We have found that our tub and the tile surrounding it is positive for lead.
